Justice court send out 4,500 summonses

The Gallatin County Justice Court sent out 4,500 jury summonses to citizens last week.
If you receive one, that means you’re a prospective juror in our Justice Court jury pool beginning Sept. 1 and ending Aug. 31, 2024. This is not a summons for a specific trial, but simply a notification that you could be called anytime in that year.
Make sure to fill out your questionnaire and return it ASAP. If you don’t return yours, you may be getting a visit from a Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
