Residents share concerns about Headwaters Rest Area

At a public meeting last week with two officials from the Montana Department of Transportation, residents of southern Broadwater County shared their concerns about the Headwaters Rest Area and traffic on US 287.
Butte District Engineers Dave Cunningham and Jeff Harrison were both in attendance at the meeting hosted by the Broadwater County Commission.
Harrison said they are working on finishing the rest area, and he anticipates it opening in four to six weeks.
