Rocky's Agency on Aging making July 27 visit to Senior Center

Rocky's Agency for Aging officials are visiting the Three Rivers Senior Center next week.

According to Education and Outreach Coordinator Michele Mathot, the program visits senior centers in their six-county area each summer. The Three Forks stop is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, at 11 a.m.

"We are there to let folks know what the Agency on Aging does, what our program entails, and answer any questions they may have," Mathot said.

During the local stop, Mathot said at least one State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselor would attend to answer questions about Medicare or other items.

Those seniors who might have specific Medicare or senior services questions can call and speak with a SHIP Counselor before the visit. Mathot said the counselor can bring specific forms/information to those clients and meet individually during their time in Three Forks.

Those interested in speaking to a SHIP counselor should call 406-457-7368.
