Still no opening date for Headwaters Rest Area

In early May, the Montana Department of Transportation announced the Headwaters Rest Area near Three Forks would be opening as soon as possible, pending the completion of some final facility details. Now in August, an opening date has yet to be set for the facility near the Interchange of I90 and US 287 in Three Forks.
According to Lisa Olmsted, a Public Involvement Manager for DOWL, the rest area is just about ready, and they are currently working on final close-out work.
Olmsted said they don't have a specific opening date yet, but the anticipated time frame is late summer or early fall....
