Governor Gianforte Seeks Nominations for 2023 Montana Governor's Veteran Commendation

Governor Greg Gianforte recently launched the 2023 Montana Governor's Veteran Commendation and seeks nominations for the award.
"No one embodies our Montana values and commitment to service better than our veterans," Gov. Gianforte said. "This fall, I ask Montanans to help me identify outstanding Montana veterans who bravely served our country in uniform and are making Montana a better place through their life of service."
The Montana Governor's Veteran Commendation recognizes outstanding Montana veterans who have selflessly served both our nation and our communities. Thirty-one veterans received the award in 2021 and 51 in 2022.
The deadline for nominating an outstanding Montana veteran is October 21, 2023. Recipients of the Montana Governor's Veteran Commendation will be announced on Veterans Day and honored in the new year.
