Three Forks cross country runners set PRs at Butte Invite

The Three Forks High School Cross Country team had several runners set personal records at last Friday's Butte Invite.

Eight-grader Teegan Gifford led the way for the girls' team finishing in 33rd out of 106 runners with a PR of 21:18. Ari Judd finished strong for the Wolves with a time of 21:59.80, Grace Kluin finished at 23:23.40, and Devynn Judd ended the varsity race with a time of 26:15.60. Head Coach Tara Forsberg said junior standout Bella Jones was unable to complete the race due to illness.

Senior Bryon Fanning was the top finisher for the boys' varsity team with a time of 16:49.00. Cass Violett had a time of 18:04.80, Micah Gather finished with a PR of 19:02.20, and Rhett Violett ended the race with a time of 21:55.50.

"I thought we looked good and am very proud of everyone's efforts," Forsberg said.

In junior varsity results, freshman Dawson Petersen led the team with a time of 26:12.40. Isabella Meehan finished at 31:45.20, Aubrey Lema had a time of 32:08.90, and Pailey Lampers finished at 34:36.70.

Christopher Harmon was the top finisher for Three Forks in the boys' junior varsity race with a time of 19:14.80. Kiai Ingraham finished at 19:15.30, and Lucas Petersen ended the race with a time of 22:28.20. Jace Wiseman had a PR of 24:00.50. Jacoby Berg finished with a time of 28:23.30.

Forsberg said the varsity team will next compete on Saturday in Boise, while the junior varsity and middle school teams will travel to Missoula.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

It was another fantastic day for the Lady Wolves Middle School team, led by a fifth-place finish from Lorali Thomas with a time of 10:36.80. Acie Kelley was also in the top 20, finishing in 18th at 11:34.30.

The great day of times for Three Forks also included Linley Noble (12:02.80), Tadley Kelly (12:29.20), Elizabeth Crosair (12:38.20), Naomi Gifford (12:43.10), Audrey Keller (13:01.80), Victoria Kotter (13:05.80), Anna Tribble (13:12.00), Copper Fallang (13:29.00), Sidney Forsberg (13:37.30), Kassedy Rogers (14:31.00), Molly McDaniel (15:28.40), Peyton Lauver (16:18.80), Zoe Dabling (17:03.20), Chloe Dell (17:17.50), and Abi Williams (18:28.20).

Sean Jung was the top finisher for the boys' middle school team with a time of 11:21.90, and Landon Rios was also strong with a finish at 11:45.50. David Harmon finished at 12:39.00, Benson Judd finished at 13:07.40, Finley Lewellen finished at 16:18.40, and Zane Pauzauskie had a time of 19:53.00
