Earlier this month, Gallatin Valley Vision celebrated the second anniversary of its Three Forks location at 9 E. Birch Street.
Moving into year three of the business, Dr. Jessica Lemons is thankful for the support of area residents.
"I feel the community here has been very welcoming, and that has been very exciting for me. Literally every week, someone tells me thanks for being here and opening the office here so they don't have to drive to Bozeman for the service. It's been nice to feel appreciated. In Three Forks, you can tell the people are happy the service is here," Lemons said.
While grateful for the support, Lemons said many people still don't know they have a location in Three Forks, and they are trying to spread the word about the business.
Lemons wants area residents to know they are taking new patients and offer a full-service operation with exams, glasses, contacts, and repairs.
According to Lemons, Gallatin Valley Vision also takes many different insurances, which she said makes her practice both beneficial and unique because many places in the valley do not take as many insurances as they do.
The practice has grown from two clinic days a week to now having clinic days from Tuesday to Friday.
"It has been nice to double the days I'm here," said Lemons. "I'm ready to be able to be here full time, so I'm ready to get some more patients in the door."
Along with the finishing touches completed in the office, those who have recently driven past the practice may have also noticed the new sign. Because of the wait for materials, the project took a year and a half to finish.
"It helps when you are driving down Main Street and take a peek at the sign and see a pair of blue glasses to let people know where are here," Lemons said.
Gallatin Valley Vision also has a Bozeman location, and Lemons said she can schedule appointments at that location for Three Forks residents who commute to work.
A Three Forks resident, Lemons has also enjoyed being part of the community and participating in events like the Ladies Night Fall Walk and Christmas Stroll.
"It's been really nice to take care of the community I live with," she said.
Gallatin Valley Vision is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For appointments or more information, call 406-285-6901.
