Three Forks Community Library hosting 'Crafternoon' Class

The Three Forks Community Library is introducing a monthly "Crafternoon" Class in 2024.

The classes will take place on the second Friday of each month, and the fourth Friday of the month will be a drop-in "Crafternoon."

According to Library Director Jaime Ewan, the first "Crafternoon" Class scheduled for Friday, January 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. will be "All about Crocheting," and librarian Laura Brewer will teach those in attendance about basic stitches. The library will have yarn and a few crochet hooks available for the class, but ask those with yarn and hooks to bring them.

"Every month, we will teach a different craft. In February, we will set up our Cricut machine and teach a class on creating and making vinyl stickers," Ewan said.

There is no charge to attend the "Crafternoon" classes.

Ewan added at the drop-in events, residents can bring their supplies and crafts with others.
