Voters to decide in June on question to establish and fund study commission to examine changing form of local government

Later this year, Three Forks residents can vote on whether they would like to establish and fund a study commission to examine changing their form of local government.

With the Montana Constitution requiring each city and county government to ask their voters if they want to review their local government every ten years, residents of the City of Three Forks will be given the opportunity twice in 2024.

The Three Forks City Council voted last week to approve a resolution calling for a June 4, 2024, election on the question of conducting a local government review and a study commission to do so....
