Three Forks Area Ambulance Community Update

March ended with 19 emergency responses.

Five transports to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center were aided by AMR paramedics due to needed pain management.

TFAA EMTs did six more transports to BDRMC. TFAA did two standbys at fires to support Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department.

The rest of the calls were for refusals of transport and unfortunately one DOA.

This past month the crew trained and reviewed the NARCAN protocols and crew members trained at Willow Creek Fire Department in conjunction with Gallatin County Sheriffs on the proper use of restraints.

The Emergency Medical Responder class finished and TFAA gained 4 EMRs. These folks will respond with an EMT and provide patient support.

This summer we hope to offer an Emergency Medical Technician Course and these new EMRs will have the opportunity to bridge to an EMT level.

April training this month will focus on Triage Training for major incidents. TFAA EMTs and EMRs will be training at Amsterdam Fire Department. Three Forks Ambulance will present a Mass Casualty Incident training later in the month at our station. TFAA has invited Three Forks Fire and Willow Creek Fire to participate.

One of our EMTs became a State Instructor so now we have two State Instructors. We hope to offer more community classes soon. We will keep you posted as we develop a class schedule.

We will try our best to keep the cost down for these classes and the QUALITY of TRAINING HIGH!

GIVE BIG will be happening on Main Street in Three Forks on May 2,2024. This event will benefit non-profit organizations in need of funds to continue their efforts in our community.

Please come out and support our efforts to provide emergency care to our Three Forks Community. Please look for more information concerning the GIVE BIG EVENT in town.

TFAA hopes more folks in our community will step up and become involved with our Ambulance Service.

If interested in being a driver we are hoping to offer a Traffic Incident Management Course soon, which is a requirement for all drivers of ambulances.
