Greater Goods Thrift Store open for business

On a beautiful Saturday morning, community members came together for the Greater Goods Thrift Store's grand opening at the Three Forks United Methodist Church Annex.

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted on June 1 by the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce, Pastor Sara Lattimore discussed the new store.

"We're just so grateful that all of you have come out to join us. This endeavor is the outcome of a grant we applied for to help support our community and support the vitality of the church. We're just so excited to get to offer this to the community and it's been a partnership from the beginning with everyone. So, this is an exciting day," Lattimore said.

The Greater Goods Thrift Store hours are Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Donations for the store will be accepted during business hours while volunteers are present. Those wanting to drop off items are asked not to leave them outside the door and to make sure they are clean or freshly laundered.

The store is currently taking gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and household items.
