  • Portion of Jefferson River near Three Forks closed to recreation

    A small portion of the Jefferson River near Three Forks is closed to all recreation. The closure extends from Williams' Bridge Fishing Access Site to the bridge on Meridian Road. High river flows coupled with ongoing repairs to Meridian Bridge have created a hazardous obstruction for people floating on the river. The closure will remain in effect until further notice.     Gov. Greg Gianforte announced Friday that Henry “Hank” Worsech is retiring as director of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the agency charged with managing Montana’s wildlife and 55 state parks.     From the Three Forks Area Ambulance Three Forks Area Ambulance had a very busy May, we responded to 23 calls! Whiteline EMT course is coming to an end in mid-June. We are excited to add 3-4 EMTs from this class. All the students worked extremely hard and had hours of hands-on scenario training.
