District receives lunch account donation

January 8, 2020

An anonymous donation made to the Three Forks School District showed the true giving nature of local residents.

The district business office recently received a call to inform them of a $1,200 donation to pay for all overdrawn lunch accounts.

Superintendent Jeff Elliott said it was amazing to hear the news of the donation.

"Many of our students have lunch accounts that have a balance at different times, but around the holidays they seem to grow even more. Lisa Morgan (Business Manager) received the call and none of us could honestly believe it. It really speaks to the quality of people we have in our community. We have a great community, great school, and great kids," he said.
