Busy Halloween at Three Forks Community Library

October 28, 2020

It will be a busy Halloween at the Three Forks Community Library.

A raffle is underway at the Three Forks Community Library.

On Saturday, October 31 the library will be handing out books to children from Noon to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. will be hosting a "Trunk or Treat" event.

According to Librarian Fawn Venzor, kids can come in and choose one book. She added for the "Trunk or Treat" local residents can come to the parking lot and open their trunks and giveaway candy which is a safe place for the community to come together.

The Three Forks Community Library is also continuing a fundraising raffle they started earlier this year. Venzor said they are continuing to sell tickets for book "collections", and they can be purchased for $1 each, 6 for $5, and 12 for $10. She said they now have 23 different collections and the drawing will take place on December 10.

Venzor is also hoping they will be able to host more events soon at the library.
