Angel Tree Shows best of Community

January 6, 2021

The Three Forks community went above and beyond to show their giving nature during Christmas of 2020.

After learning of the cancellation of the annual "Family" Angel Tree because of COVID-19, Three Forks resident Dawn Miller decided she would create one to help families that were truly in need because of losing jobs or other reasons in what was a difficult year for many.

Miller does not want credit for creating the tree, instead, she wanted to highlight the 'wonderful community we live in'.

"Three Forks really brought it. They helped over 100 kids and their families have a Christmas that might not have had a Christmas without their help. They have gifts and also some even made dinner for them. It was such a humbling experience. Just want to shout out to the community and say thanks," Miller said.
