I've learned it is never an excellent idea to go grocery shopping when you are hungry.

It's also a terrible idea to watch the Food Network when between meals.

As much as I know either one is not a great idea, I still do both.

When it is not eating before the store, my basket is never healthy. It instead is probably more akin to what a college-aged kid would buy at the store after his parents left $100 bucks because they were going out of town for a few days. Think lots of frozen pizzas and Cheetos.
