Proposed Resurfacing on US-287 near Ennis

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to announce and invite the public to comment on a proposal to resurface about 6 miles of Highway 287, north of Ennis. The project begins at the intersection of US-287 and MT-287 and extends north for 6 miles ending near McAllister.
Proposed work includes resurfacing the existing surface and painting new pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the rutting roadway and to extend the service life of the pavement.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2022, depending on completion of all project...
