Temperatures drop, ice jam near Logan

A crippling winter storm sent temperatures this week well below zero across Southwest Montana.

According to accuweather.com, the low temperature in Three Forks was -32 on March 3, -39 on March 4, and -27 on March 5.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning until March 8 at 5:45 p.m. due to an ice jam on the Gallatin River near Logan. Water levels are reported to be below the flood stage in the area, but the risk for flooding will continue through the week.
