Three Forks Council amends 20-21 budget

The Three Forks City Council voted last week to approve a resolution to amend the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget to acknowledge unanticipated revenues and amend expenditures exceeding the original appropriations.

The most significant unanticipated revenue was in the Streets/Flood Improvement fund, with $171,813 received from a Covid-19 CARES Act reimbursement from Gallatin County and alley abandonment purchases.

In the Gas Tax BARSAA Fund, there was an unanticipated revenue of $16,400.19 after the City received more than anticipated from 2020 funding. The Headwaters Trail Project had an amen...
