City Submits 2 grant applications

City of Three Forks Treasurer/Flood Plain Administrator Kelly Smith reported last week the City has officially submitted FEMA Building, Resilient, Infrastructure & Communities (BRIC) and Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant applications to the state of Montana. The grants would help secure funding for an ongoing flood mitigation project that includes a conveyance channel and culvert crossing mitigation option designed to capture overflow flooding from the Jefferson River before reaching the City of Three Forks.
