    Last Tuesday was a huge day for the Three Forks School District. Local voters approved a $15 million High School Bond and a $10 million K-8 bond. In results from the Gallatin County Elections Office, voters approved the high school bond by a vote of 725 to 517 and approved the K-8 bond by a vote of 742 to 510.     While many school districts across the state will not be returning to onsite instruction this year, one local school is bucking the trend. The Willow Creek School board recently voted to return for the remainder of the year and students were welcomed back May 7.   • Ballots mailed for primary election

    Ballots for the 2020 Primary Election were mailed Friday to all active voters in Gallatin County. As a response to COVID-19 concerns, this year's primary is an all-mail election. Ballots must be received no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 2, in order to be counted. Postmarks cannot be accepted. No polls will be open for this election.     Three Forks High School senior Kendall Lynn and 2019 graduate Bryce Olson will both be continuing their athletic careers next school year. The two signed letters of intent last Friday to compete in track and field at Montana State University-Billings. A two-time state champion in the triple jump, Lynn is excited to have the opportunity.
