    Thanks to a generous donation from the GCC Trident Plant, The Railroad and Trident Heritage Center in Three Forks is one step closer to opening to the public. According to Pat Townsend of the Three Forks Historical Society, GCC recently donated all the concrete work for a sidewalk project at the center.     In a little over week music enthusiasts from across the state will make their way to "Bridge" near Three Forks for the 19th annual Rockin the Rivers festival.   • Fee lock box broken into at Greycliff FAS

    Law enforcement officials are seeking information about a user fee lock box that was broken into at Greycliff Fishing Access Site along the Madison River. Various tools appear to have been used to break into the metal box and gain access to the money inside. Investigators believe this happened sometime between July 8 and 17. Boxes like this one, often called iron rangers, are used to collect fees from people who camp at an FAS. Gallatin Valley stayed alive Tuesday at the Montana/Alberta American Legion Championship with a 13-3 victory over Vauxhall (Canada).
