Each year, VFW Pay Lau Post #7621 invites local students to participate in the Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy Contests. There was great news last week at Willow Creek School with high school student Dalton Koosman selected as this year's local winner of the Voice of Democracy Contest. The Three Forks City Council has a new member. At last week's council meeting, the governing body voted to select Reagan Hooton to fill the position vacated by former member Brooke McLees. Last week, the Three Forks School District announced the amazing news of receiving a $5,000 Rural Reserve Grant. While he has earned a plethora of medals since starting wrestling at age six in 2013, Three Forks High School senior Cole Rogers doesn't have many hanging up in his bedroom.
