    The Three Forks Speech and Drama team competed at the divisional tournament on Saturday at Columbus Public Schools, placing as champion in Speech with a score of 131-129. The Speech team thus remains undefeated in Class B Speech competition going into the state tournament.     There was some great news at the start of 2020 for V-42 Fitness when they announced members now have 24-hour access to the facility located at 207 S. Main in Three Forks. There is also more positive news for the business owned by Sean and Kira Gifford with a future move to the "Henslee Auditorium" in the works for 2021.     The Three Forks Chamber has a new Executive Director. Leandra Hill officially started in the position on January 1. Hill said it is an amazing opportunity to become connected with the community she has lived in for 21 years.   • Unveiling of plaque Saturday

    Saturday will be a special day in Three Forks with the unveiling of the bronzed memorial plaque to honor men and women of Japanese ancestry who served and fought for America in WWII. The special ceremony is scheduled for February 1 at 10 a.m. at Veteran's Park in Three Forks. The memorial was originally erected by the late Navy Veteran Bud Lilly in 2011 and tells the story of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
