    Three Forks wrestlers will get a chance to shine under the lights at a special fundraising event next week. The Headwaters Wrestling Academy is hosting a mixer Saturday, September 14 starting at 5 p.m. at the Three Forks football field.   • Tudor passes US Tax Court exam

    Earlier this year, Dave Tudor of Three Forks received some phenomenal news through the mail. Tudor was informed he was one of 22 who passed the 2018 US Tax Court Exam. According to Tudor who is the owner of Tudor & Associates Inc. in Three Forks, the exam is conducted every two years for Enrolled Agents and Certified Public Accountants that want to be admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. A total of 143 nationwide took the exam in 2018. Since 2000, 881 have taken the exam, with only 122 passing, an average pass rate of 13.85 percent....

    I'll be the first to admit I spend too much time on my phone and really need to put it down a lot more. It's very addictive and I can certainly see why kids who have been raised with phones spend so much time with them. It's all they know. I'm old enough to remember using a rotary phone so I should know better than to spend hours with my eyes focused on a tiny screen, especially after looking at a computer screen most of the day. I really wish the younger generation could have experienced the rotary phone and the days before personal devices....

  • Lady Wolves show promise at Choteau Tourney

    The Three Forks High School volleyball team showed plenty of promise at last week's season opening Choteau Tournament. The Lady Wolves picked up five victories and finished sixth out of 15 teams at the tournament. Head coach Tracy Welter said the team played 26 sets which was tons of playing time for everyone.     It was a positive start to the season for the Three Forks High School Cross Country team at last week's Jefferson High School meet in Boulder. Leading the way for the Lady Wolves was Hannah Wilson who finished in third place with a time of 23:40. Kodee Kolberg was also in the top ten with a ninth place finish and a time of 26:21.     Our beautification project is moving right along. The plan for putting the name on the building is settled. At the quarterly business meeting on Tuesday, the 3rd (at this moment that’s still in the future) we will decide on the style of the new front windows. One benefit of membership in the Senior Citizens’ Club is the right to vote on such issues.
