    Ballots have been mailed for the 2019 Municipal General Election in Three Forks. Four candidates will be vying for three open seats on the Three Forks City Council. Incumbents Steve Dahl and Debra Mickelberry, as well as Erin Schattauer each filed prior to the June 17 deadline.     A Gallatin County Sheriff's Deputy was killed in the line of duty Saturday. 31-year-old Deputy Jake Allmendinger was killed in a tragic accident after responding to the report of a stranded motorist on Fairy Lake Road in the Bridger Mountain Range. According to Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin, as Deputies Allmendinger and Ryan Jern were driving up to try and locate the motorist, their patrol vehicle began to slide backwards.     The Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is hosting a hot dog chili feed this Halloween. The event is scheduled on October 31 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the fire station located at 13 E.     The Gallatin Valley Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday they are searching for a 73-year-old Butte man. As of press deadline for the Voice, Gallatin County Search and Rescue was attempting to locate Ronald Lowny whose vehicle was located at the Drouillard Fishing Access Site on the Jefferson River near Three Forks. The Sheriff's Office reported his vehicle is believed to have been there since April 10.
