After a phenomenal senior season for the Three Forks High School Cross Country team, Bryon Fanning is not quite done with competition in 2023. The Bozeman Ice Dogs' women's 14U team faced off against the Billings Bulls this weekend in Bozeman, and it was an exciting series of games. Throughout the 2023 season, there has been a buzz building around the Three Forks High School football team as they inched closer to the postseason. After finishing the regular season with a 6-3 record, the Wolves would travel north on October 28 for a tough battle in inclement weather conditions against a streaking Malta High School team. The fifth-seeded Wolves fell in the opening round of districts on October 26 in a thrilling five-set match against fourth-seeded rival Manhattan. Hockey season is officially underway in Gallatin Valley, and the Bozeman Ice Dogs have already hit the road to take on the Great Falls Americans. Trailing 16-0 near the end of the first quarter in last Friday's senior night matchup with third-ranked Columbus, things started to click on offense for the Three Forks High School football team. Following a 46-8 loss that broke a five-game win streak on October 6 at Manhattan, Three Forks High School Football Head Coach Connor Sullivan said the message he gave the team is one loss doesn't define who they are and what they've built. "They beat us in every aspect of the game tonight. In order to move forward, you have to accept it, learn from it, and take responsibility. That starts with me at the top. The Wolves were spectacular from start to finish in front of a large homecoming crowd, picking up a 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 win over the streaking Trojans. The Three Forks High School Cross Country team rose to the occasion with fantastic results at last week's Bob Firman Invitational in Boise. The Wolves had three runners finish in the top 20 of the Varsity 2 Division at the two-day invite that featured 158 high schools from seven states. Eight-grader Teegan Gifford led the way for the girls' team finishing in 33rd out of 106 runners with a PR of 21:18. The Three Forks High School football team wrapped up non-conference play in impressive fashion with a 48-7 road victory on September 15 at Anaconda. The Wolves came out strong, scoring on their first offensive play on an 85-yard touchdown pass from Shane Williams to Colten Hayder.
